Milled, dried, and ready - all on-site
Every slab goes through our full process in-house from milling to air-drying to vacuum kiln treatment and final flattening. All done by us

MILLING
Logs are milled on-site to preserve maximum slab width and character. We select for grain, figure, and live edge profile.

AIR DRYING
Slabs air-dry outdoors for 3 summers. This slow process stabilizes the wood before kiln drying. It can't be rushed so we don't rush it.

VACUUM KILN
Our on-site vacuum kiln, custom-made in Italy, brings slabs to the ideal moisture content, without cracking or warping.

SURFACED TO SHOW GRAIN
All of our slabs are surfaced smooth to bring out the natural figure, color variation, and grain character of the wood.

What makes your slabs so special?
Few suppliers are able to offer a product air-dried for 3 years. This slow process stabilizes the wood, taking all the stress out prior to kiln drying, ensuring superior quality and longevity.
Why are slabs the thickness they are?
If the slab is too thin, it will warp. We focus on ensuring longevity and the high-end quality you and/or your customers expect.
Can I buy a slab without visiting in person?
Yes, you can shop inventory online. If you need additional photos or have questions, you are welcome to reach out.
How much does shipping cost?
You can view shipping quotes in our online store, based on location. The quote weight includes pallet weight so the final price is what you see.
