Live Edge Hardwoods didn't start as a furniture company.
It started as a deep knowledge of wood; how it grows, how it moves, how it behaves once it's been cut, dried, and finished. That foundation was built over years of vocational training and hands-on work in the woodworking industry before a single piece of furniture was ever sold.
That background is why the pieces we build are different. The grain selection, the joinery, the finish, the base, every decision is made by people who understand the material and their craft.
Craig, the owner, attended vocational school for four years. After spending the next several years in the industry, he moved to California, to explore new opportunities working in the entertainment events industry, working my way up to sales leadership positions.
Fast forward several years, my wife Hollie was offered an opportunity to relocate our family to the Seattle-area with Microsoft. This afforded me the opportunity to get back to my roots and start a custom furniture and cabinet making business.
We grew because the work spoke for itself.
A multi-seven-figure operation built entirely on referrals, repeat clients, and the kind of word-of-mouth that only happens when someone shows their table to a guest and that guest asks who built it.
